2 goldfish in that is so misleading... ive got 3 goldfish in a 55 gallon tank with two hang on 60 gallon filters and still have water quality issues!

Not much gets under my skin. I have lived long enough to realize some people are just going to be stupid! Nothing can fix stupid so no sense in getting tore up about it. And I have met some Stupid Reefers out there!! No offense to your special friends Daniel. Lol lol

Oh wait... fish related. Yeah I'd have to say local fish stores that sell people a death trap and the soon to be deceased non-refundable victims to customers at the same time.

Seeing someone with a tank in hand walking through the fish section picking out fish with a store employee makes me just leave the store.

The "LFS". I won't mention which one but they sell Pets that are Wet and some Critters. Their livestock are worse than ever, the prices are almost double, the floor is always flooded, etc. One of the owners is real nice and helpful the other one could use a lesson in customer service. I never expect anyone to roll out a red carpet for me but holy ----!, flat out rude I can't handle. Funny thing is that I've never spoken directly to her. She will not look my direction. I stood there for 15 minutes one day at the register waiting for her to get off the phone to get me a feather duster because she was the only one in the store that could handle the saltwater stuff. When she finally got off the phone some guy walked in and she looked straight past me and asked the guy if she could help him! It was like a twilight zone episode. I looked at my reflection to make sure I was still there, and I was! I've had a few other issues with her being rude but I've probably typed enough. Sorry for the vent but I'd just rather go without than deal with that lady.

i already know who your talking about! and your right, ole lady... shes rude as hell! im really glad to see im not the only one to have an issue! theres a man that works there, i think hes one of the owners, and he actually was pretty cool to me and helpful, he used to let me come in and pick the little snails off the glass in his freshwater tanks bc he was infested with maylasian trumpet snails and id feed them to my puffers. quit doin that after i saw one of my puffs split his beak on one... then i did a lil more research and found out they are really too hard for puffers... but anyways... yeah... i went in asking her about building a sump and getting some silicone and bulkheads, and she was more intrested in trying to sell me an acrylic sump and reef additives than giving me the materials i was asking for. the time she pissed me off i went in there when my first coral died, and tried to get a result on a water sample and she blew me off so she could give some dog a bath... i mean seriously... she didnt even act like she would do it in a minute, she was like "well thats a shame" and kept washing the dog... wanted to strangle them! (at this time was when i had just moved and discovered i have copper in my water here, and i wasnt using r/o water. hense my coral died).. i dunno...


and you know what i hate??? buying a brand new fish and having it for 2 days and looking at it to discover its got ick when it didnt have a single white spot on it when you bought it. petco got me like that a dozen times atleast. now i Q/T or atleast dip all my new fishes if i can!
