im suppose to be getting a shipment of gulf rock today but so far bestbuy has put off my 55 inch tv that was suppose to be delivered today guess ill get it tomorrow also my aqua c remora skimmer has been delayed plus the media and carbon i ordered off amazon has been put off and of all things my subaru sti is not getting tuned because the shop thats three hours away in flowermound is closed for today so snow has put a hamper on my day

forgetting that my heater was turned off for a WC sunday. noticing it tuesday and seeing you tank @ 68* . then finding a powder brown tang, blue hippo tang, tomato clown , strawberry psudeo. all dead.

when one of your fish just vanishes. had 3 mature black sailfin mollys. my male has vanished.... not on the floor... nowhere to be found.... and i really liked that fish too

I had an albino oscar do that to me, didn't find it for two days. It had crawled into a plastic mangrove root I'd had in the tank and died, my guess after being bullied to near death by the midas cichlid who most likely followed the albino in there to finish it off.... obviously I had to get rid of the midas so i ended up losing two fish out of the deal...

I detest their supercilious voices (well other than the air traffic controller voice, as I take my Pontiac down to 100 yards and pull on a new course of 90 Degrees to the right)
I hate that they are so often right.
I hate that the battery dies, just when really needed.

I love... winding up the German GPS by not taking the route they want me to, and hearing that German Voice in a resigned tone "Ein moment bitte".

I live in a what could be called 'urban style' apartments, mainly there are shops and bars below most of the complexes (not mine but I'm a stones throw away from it all)...
One of the bars decided to have a block party for St. Patty's tonight and about a thousand people showed up... well that's great, except parking is bad enough as it is, so after yet another long night at work I come home to nearly getting t-boned by a d-bag twenty year old who was two drunk to care about the stop sign or the nearly 7 parked cars parallel parked on the street he was turning onto, I then get to deal with the rest of his dumb cohorts in the parking garage, which is completely full... end up having to park in the fire lane. I swear if I get a ticket, the leasing office and the bar that threw the block party are going to pay for it, this REALLY pissed me off tonight!!!!!!!!!

Doing online research for a couple of hours, and finding that the opinion is 50:50

We have 2 Pictus Cats in a smaller tank, and by now they really would be better off in a larger tank. i.e. the 55G would be a great size.
But chemistry says they will hate the pH. However online reading has it that people keep them with Africans. True, it never says if they are as active (for active, read crazy) as you would expect. And of course, anyone that did this and they faded and died, never admits it.
So for now the Pictus can be healthy and crazy and slightly cramped.

Seeing as I just had my snowball, and I'm assuming all the pygmy cories die off this week in my nursery tank (which sits at a solid 8.4 due to the crushed coral substrate) I'd have to agree that pH isn't a friend to the catfish...
