He's doing great actually, he's definitely not shy that's for sure... I've actually been quite surprised seeing how he is such a nice contrast to the bristle-nose which rarely comes out. He definitely is a fan of the sinking krill tabs I throw in the tank every couple days, I'll try and shoot a couple right next to him and he always jumps on them without hesitation.

Neighbor backing over brand new mailbox that I bought and put up after the last time the idiot backed over it. Wish I could rig it with a dye bomb like they use in banks to dye stollen money. Bad thing is, the box has been in this same spot for years and years. Idiot can't see out the back of his pickup truck. But hey, he got a good dent this time cause I used a steel post to mount this one.

Suggestion from my Oh so nice girlfriend. Sink the post 2-3 feet in the ground and fill it with concrete, it doesn't bend, and sunk so deeply, leans very little???

If you have a PC I'd recommend putting a camera up, IP cameras are getting cheaper and are way easier to wire than CCTV over Coax...

He He, thats what I did, he has a nice size dent in right rear quarter panel now, wonder where it came from? Bad thing is they won't even acknowledge they done it. This time it did make it lean a little but it messed up the new box.

Microsoft for bricking my laptop with their sp1 update, I've been at it all day, and to say it's been a test of wills doesn't do it justice...

What windows are you running? you can usually fix these problems easy by just going to system restore and restoring back before the update. Updates by themselves dont usually cause these problems, its usually something else on the machine.

I installed sp1 two weeks ago on my 64 bit with no problem, I am running win7 ultimate. Service packs always create a restore point before installing, you should be able to go to "start" "all programs" "Accesories" "system tools" and "system Restore" and restore your computer to before sp1 install, If this does not fix the problem it is going to be something other than sp1, like a virus. Keep us posted. If you need more help PM me, My other hobby is computer repair and rebuilding.

Re: things that piss you off...
I've been fighting a user access control glitch ever since my company switched to a different sub net, So windows had been ruining in a slightly faulty condition before the update. I'm running pro, one of the other guys in our office has ultimate 64 and didn't have any other issues either. I've read a lot of 64 bit installs are having problems...

Have you tried system restore as I stated above? This is your best bet not reinstall. After system restore you can go to windows update and hide the sp1 update until microsoft finds a fix for it. This is the first I have heard of this though, my laptop and wifes both have home edition and sp1.

Finally, turns out I was also using an install disc which became corrupted, could have been isolated to my system but I suspect the disc is bad... all I ned to do now is rebuild all my other applications...

Only thing is I pretty much know pc's in's and out's, I can build them from the ground up and know what to do if one crashes but on a Mac, its start all over again, I'm getting to old for the aggravation. Besides, I have not had any major problems with windows 7 other than all the stupid internet explorers they keep coming up with. Firefox is a much better browser but to many add-ons.

Firefox - add ons = google chrome
The good news about a Mac is... I know Mac's inside and out, I can build one from the ground up, but I have no idea how to fix one. They never break! I've been using Apple for over 5 years and I've only had my laptop freeze up a few times... and when I say a few I mean literally 2 or 3 times. I have NEVER had to fix a software issue of any kind whatsoever in 5 years! In those 5 years I have received exactly 1 pop-up/notification, and I immediately deleted the program that caused it (it was something I downloaded). Now everything in that bottom right hand corner on windows that pops up drives me INSANE!
When I worked as a computer tech for 4 years, I fixed pc's for 40 hours a week, I'd say an average of 1 every 2 hours. During those 4 years I saw 2 macs. The first got yanked off of a table while it was running because someone tripped over the power cord. The second had a bad power supply, BUT the new cords were magnetic so that if someone tripped over the power cord it would just come unplugged instead of pulling the computer over. lol.

I agree on the pop-ups but win 7 eliminated those. if everyone had Mac's tho, retired folks like me that fix pc's could not make the extra $ to buy aquarium stuff I enjoy working on them and fixing them but I will be the first to admit windows is garbage. I had to replace the power supply on my computer this week, fortunately I knew it was going out and ordered one three weeks ago so I had it ready to replace, took about fifteen minutes and $35.00 for the oem power supply. If that had been put in a shop to repair, probably cost 5 times that.

Re: things that piss you off...
Hahaha. It is true that if everyone had Mac's there would be a lot less computer repair business! lol.
Something like a power supply is still the same with a mac. On the smaller desktops that are "all in one" inside the monitor they can be a bit of a pain to switch out parts, but in general the hardware is the exact same. It would cost likely $80 to $100 instead of $35, but once again... in 4 years I saw two and replaced the power supply on 1. I replaced a power supply once or twice a week on pc's. They just don't break!!
